Renowned Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, was discovered critically ill in his hotel room last week, prompting a heartfelt appeal for support from his family.
As reported by PC Gamer, Johnson's wife Kim and family launched a GoFundMe campaign to address mounting medical costs and living expenses during his incapacitation. The campaign page states, "Wes is currently fighting for his life in an intensive care unit."
Johnson's absence from a scheduled January 22nd benefit event for the National Alzheimer’s Foundation in Atlanta triggered the alarm. After failing to appear, his wife Kim's attempts to contact him proved unsuccessful. Hotel security was required to access his room, where they found him unconscious and barely responsive. Emergency responders faced difficulty detecting a pulse.
His extensive video game credits predominantly feature Bethesda titles, most recently portraying Ron Hope in Starfield. His other notable roles include Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, three Daedric Princes (Boethiah, Malacath, and Molag Bal) in The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4.
