Activists have targeted Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of in-game subpoenas, sparking a campaign to cancel the project.
The game has drawn the attention of activists, including Grummz, who are described as "agenda-driven." News of KCD 2's ban in Saudi Arabia fueled speculation about the game's content and its alleged incorporation of "progressive" themes.
This led to a wave of online attacks against the developers, with calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage support for the studio.
Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to the controversy, urging the public to trust the developers and not to believe everything found online.
Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days" following the game's completion in early December. These codes are expected to be released approximately four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on portions of the review build, are anticipated just a week after the distribution of review codes.
