Uncover the Lost Shipment in Brighter Shores: A Complete Guide
The Brannof family needs your help in Brighter Shores. Besides their inheritance woes, a crucial weapons shipment has vanished. This guide details how to recover The Lost Shipment.
Starting the Quest
Locate the Brannof Hall Dining Room, accessible from Brannof Boulevard near the Town Square. Speak with Cohen; he'll reveal the missing weapons and enlist your aid. Crucially, speak to him a second time to receive vital leads.
Completing the Quest
This investigation involves two separate paths. Before starting, remove any Town Guard equipment to avoid suspicion.
1. Captain Shirker's Lead:
Find Captain Shirker on his ship, The Vincible, in the southeast part of town.
After a meal at The Delectable Dab (near the Town Square), he'll mention a man in a blue waistcoat. Locate this individual in the Town Square.
He'll point you towards "The Illusion," but to access the weapons, you must impersonate "Sam"—who, conveniently, has a monobrow. Visit the hairdresser on Old Street West (8 Silver and 280 Copper required).
2. The Hooked Hand Lead:
Investigate The Hooked Hand restaurant near Eel Street. Speak with patrons until you're directed to the Frequently Fresh Fish Stall.
The Fishmonger requires a Fetid Flounder (requires Level 25 Fishing). Use a Quill, Ink, and Paper (found on Lord Brannof's desk) to write a note and hide it inside the fish.
Give the fish to the Fishmonger, hide nearby, and observe the "Furtive Stranger" who purchases it.
3. Confrontation and Conclusion:
Follow the stranger to Monab Row. Ensure your monobrow is visible (remove any Guard gear). Identify yourself as "Sam" to gain entry. Defeat the Level 30 thief in combat, retrieve the Plumbatae, and return them to Brannof Hall to complete the quest.
