This trivia game features thousands of four-choice multiple-choice questions across diverse subjects, suitable for all ages. Prepare for exams, particularly baccalaureate tests, with question sets based on Romanian high school textbooks (History, Philosophy, Economics, and Psychology—each with approximately 1,000 questions).
The extensive database boasts over 10,000 questions covering literature, film, art, mythology, music, psychology, sports, history, chemistry, politics, biology, vocabulary, linguistics, grammar, English, antiquity, rebus puzzles, IT, religion, anatomy, zoology, capitals, and more. 90% of these questions are original and exclusive to this game.
Each test comprises 21 questions (7 per level) with four answer choices. Lifelines include asking the audience, 50/50, and skipping questions (from level two onwards). Three bonus chances mitigate incorrect answers, resulting in point deductions rather than immediate game over. Scoring considers time, difficulty, and the number of question sets selected; bonus points are awarded for level completion and winning.
Submit high scores to the online leaderboard via the Statistics section. Personal statistics include total points, average score and time per test, best/recent results, and leaderboard ranking. Customizable settings encompass background music, sound effects, voice announcements, and text-to-speech for questions, answers, and other information.
Available on Android TV, web (www.culturagenerala.ro), and iOS (App Store), the game offers full screen reader compatibility (Talkback, Jieshuo Plus). The web version allows user-contributed question sets. The gameplay echoes the popular "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" format.
Version 8.6 (July 18, 2024): New additions include a Romanian Poetry set (270 questions by Mirabela Mischie) and an Animal World set (over 200 questions by Ghiță Potra). Minor bug fixes have also been implemented.
