The Four Bead Game (also known as 4 Teni, Sholo Guti, or 4 Daane) is a two-player game where each player starts with four beads. The objective is to eliminate all of your opponent's beads before they eliminate yours. The game begins automatically once both players join.
Gameplay involves strategic bead movement. Players take turns, and each turn consists of one of two moves:
-
Moving a bead to an adjacent empty space: This is a defensive maneuver, protecting your beads from capture. Only one bead can be moved per turn using this method.
-
Jumping over an opponent's bead: If a player's bead is adjacent to an opponent's bead, and the space beyond is empty, the player can jump their bead over the opponent's, removing the opponent's bead from the board. Multiple jumps are allowed in a single turn using this method. After a jump, the player must end their turn by clicking the "PASS" button or selecting a different bead.
The game concludes when one player loses all four of their beads. The player with remaining beads wins.
