The tale unfolds in the Gran Shelt Kingdom, where knights Rain and Lasswell, childhood friends and rivals, embark on a quest after discovering a shooting star during a routine airship patrol. They meet Fina, a mysterious girl born from a crystal, who entrusts them with a wish, leading them to the Temple of Earth. Here, they confront Velius of the Darkness, a formidable foe intent on destroying the Crystal of Earth. Despite Rain's overwhelming power causing the crystal's destruction, the trio sets out to protect the remaining crystals scattered across the world.
Their journey is enriched by encounters with unique characters in each region, including Lido, a girl with dreams of building a flying boat; Nikoru, a warlord in the water city; Jake, a leader of an anti-government force in the fire country; and Sakura, a wise sage over 700 years old. Amidst their travels, another entity, Majin Fina, emerges from Fina, who has lost her memory. Together with their allies, Rain and Lasswell battle Velius and unravel the mysteries surrounding Rain's long-absent father, Regen, and Velius's true intentions. As Velius threatens to destroy all crystals and the world itself, the question remains: Can Rain and Lasswell overcome these challenges, safeguard the crystals, and save the world?
