Starting today, Dell is offering a fantastic deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU for just $2,399.99 shipped. This price point represents one of the best deals available for an RTX 5080 equipped prebuilt gaming PC, particularly as other brands have been steadily increasing their prices since the RTX 50 series launch in January. For comparison, the only other prebuilt option with an RTX 5080 at Dell is priced over $4,000. If you're considering building your own PC, good luck finding a standalone RTX 5080 GPU; it's likely to cost as much as this entire system.
Update: Dell has also been affected by recent tariffs. Given the ongoing stock issues with the Blackwell cards, prices on Alienware gaming desktops featuring RTX 50 series GPUs are expected to rise soon.

Alienware Aurora R16 Intel Core Ultra 7 265F RTX 5080 Gaming PC
$2,399.99 at Alienware
This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F Meteor Lake CPU features a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 30MB cache. It is cooled by a robust 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is powered by a 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.
The RTX 5080 is one of the three newly released Blackwell graphics cards, which are currently extremely hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie noted, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 may not be a significant upgrade – it doesn't offer much of a performance lead over the RTX 4080, although DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation does enhance the visual experience in supported games. However, if you're using an older graphics card and seeking a substantial performance boost, the RTX 5080 delivers, especially if you're keen on Nvidia's AI enhancements."
RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere
The initial wave of Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards sold out within the first hour of preorders. The highest-end models, the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, were released first, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti in February. Similarly, prebuilt gaming PCs with these new GPUs are either out of stock, have increased in price, or are facing extended delivery delays.
