EA unveils Battlefield Labs, a closed beta testing program for upcoming Battlefield titles. This internal testing initiative offers select players a sneak peek at core gameplay mechanics and concepts still under development. Note that not all features tested will necessarily appear in the final game release.
Participants will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before accessing the pre-alpha build. Initially, Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be available for testing. Early phases will prioritize evaluating combat and destruction mechanics, followed by balance adjustments.
Pre-registration is open for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A limited number of players (a few thousand) will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with plans for broader regional expansion later.

The developers confirm the new Battlefield title has entered a critical development phase. While a release date remains unannounced, development is a collaborative effort between four studios: DICE, Motive, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect.
