How Bullseye Works in Marvel Snap

Bullseye is a 3-power, 3-cost card with the ability: “Activate: Discard all cards that cost 1 or less from your hand. Afflict that many different enemy cards with -2 Power.” This makes him a potent addition to discard decks. His effectiveness hinges on discarding low-cost cards (including those discounted by effects like Swarm). He synergizes well with cards like X-23 and Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), though this synergy isn't widely discussed. Remember, his ability is only useful before the final turn, and his 3-cost limits his play window. Crucially, Bullseye afflicts different enemy cards, preventing multiple debuffs on a single card. He's essentially a board-wide -2 power debuff, most effective when hitting multiple cards in a single lane.

Bullseye fits best into existing discard decks rather than forming the core of a new archetype. A strong example combines him with standard discard cards:

Scorn, X-23, Blade, Morbius, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Swarm, Colleen Wing, Bullseye, Dracula, Proxima Midnight, MODOK, Apocalypse [Click here to copy this list from Untapped.]

Series 5 cards (Scorn, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Proxima Midnight) are key here, though Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) could be substituted with Gambit. This deck utilizes Bullseye to debuff the opponent's board with Scorn, X-23, Blade, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)'s arrows, and discounted Swarms, setting up Dracula and Apocalypse for victory.

Another, more expensive option integrates Bullseye into a Hazmat/Ajax deck:

Silver Sable, Nebula, Hydra Bob, Hazmat, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), U.S. Agent, Luke Cage, Bullseye, Rocket Raccoon & Groot, Anti-Venom, Man-Thing, Ajax [Click here to copy this list from Untapped.]

This deck features several Series 5 cards (Silver Sable, Hydra Bob, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), U.S. Agent, Rocket Raccoon & Groot, Anti-Venom, Ajax). Hydra Bob is potentially replaceable with another 1-cost card. Bullseye complements Hazmat, acting as a secondary debuff engine with Silver Sable, Nebula, Hydra Bob, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), and Anti-Venom, further bolstering Ajax's power. While its effectiveness compared to Red Guardian variants remains to be seen, it offers a unique Bullseye-centric approach.

Is Bullseye Worth Spotlight Cache Keys or Collector’s Tokens?

For players who don't favor discard or affliction decks, Bullseye might not be a worthwhile investment. His niche role and limited synergy outside specific deck archetypes make him less appealing, especially when compared to cards like Moonstone and the upcoming Aries (which synergizes with Surtur).
