Kabam is rolling out exciting updates for Marvel Contest of Champions, including the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the debut of a new character type called Eidols. This month also marks a celebration of the game's powerful female characters, giving players a chance to influence an upcoming Champion rework.
Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to The Contest, bringing with them their unique abilities and a compelling new storyline. You can recruit Jean Grey to your roster starting March 13th, followed by Bastion on March 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, challenging Jean Grey and the X-Men to face off against dangerous variants in a thrilling new quest.
The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions will continue to grow with the introduction of more Eidols, furthering the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three additional Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with its own unique sourcing system. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, will be available from March 5th until June 4th.
Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, is a master infiltrator skilled in spying, sabotage, and assassination with unmatched precision. Made from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix has the ability to manipulate light, presenting a dazzling facade while concealing a lethal weapon capable of eliminating enemies covertly.

March also brings a tribute to the powerful women of The Contest. Kabam has collaborated with seven female developers and content creators, each representing a different Champion. Players will have the opportunity to decide which Champion will be revamped in 2025 by completing Solo Objectives and participating in Realm Events.
