Conquering a level in the co-op game R.E.P.O. is a significant achievement. Your reward? A trip to the Service Station where you can purchase upgrades, including valuable Energy Crystals. But what do these crystals do, and how do you get more? Let's find out.
What Are Energy Crystals in R.E.P.O.?
These shiny yellow crystals, found at the Service Station after completing your first level, are a game-changer. They cost between $7,000 and $9,000, typically cheaper at the start of the game. Grab them early if you can!
Purchasing an Energy Crystal unlocks an Energy Container within your R.E.P.O. truck. This container lets you recharge tools like the Valuables or Extraction Tracker, saving you money on replacements. Simply place your item in the bin next to the container (marked with a yellow lightning bolt) to begin recharging. Get ready to tackle those Clowns, Gnomes, and Shadow Children!
Each crystal recharges approximately four battery sections of an item; six crystals fully replenish the Energy Container. Keep in mind, the crystals themselves have a limited lifespan and will eventually break, requiring replacement.
How To Get More Energy Crystals in R.E.P.O.
Energy Crystals are only available for purchase at the Service Station, and they can be expensive. To stock up, diligently collect valuables throughout each level. Remember, you only reach the Service Station after successfully completing a level with sufficient funds.
In particularly challenging levels, prioritize escaping with enough money to proceed rather than risking losing valuable loot. Prioritize survival!
That's everything you need to know about Energy Crystals in R.E.P.O. Good luck out there!
