Gigantamax Debut Announced for Upcoming Pokemon GO Event

Summary

  • Gigantamax Kingler debuts in Pokemon GO on February 1 for Max Battle Day event.
  • Players can use Max Mushrooms to increase damage in battles.
  • Event bonuses include increased Max Particle collection, Power Spot battles, and XP rewards.

Pokemon GO enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the latest update, and the developers have not disappointed. The introduction of Gigantamax Kingler on February 1 marks another exciting milestone in the game. Since the addition of Dynamax and Gigantamax forms last year, Niantic has been steadily enriching the game with these unique variants.

Gigantamax is a special form of Dynamax that not only increases a Pokemon's size and strength but also alters its appearance and grants exclusive G-Max Moves. While the main series games feature 32 Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing, Pokemon GO currently offers only six, with Gigantamax Lapras being the latest addition. The upcoming event promises to expand this list further.
