Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming industry with its unique approach to cooperative gameplay. Their signature "Friends Pass" system, requiring only one purchase for two-player experiences, remains a distinctive feature, establishing a unique niche. A previous shortcoming, the absence of crossplay, has been addressed.
Excitingly, Split Fiction will fully embrace crossplay functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The Friends Pass system returns, meaning only one player needs to buy the game for two to play together; however, both players will require an EA account.
To further enhance accessibility, Hazelight has announced a playable demo. Players can experience Split Fiction cooperatively, and their progress will seamlessly transfer to the full game.
Split Fiction promises diverse settings, yet centers on exploring the complexities of human relationships. Launching March 6th, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
