Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase Journey into uncharted territories and new enigmas.
New 5-Star Characters Join the Fray
Version 3.1 introduces two formidable 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the acquisition of Nikador's Coreflame, players explore the Grove of Epiphany, a new map within the main Trailblaze Mission. This mission focuses on rescuing survivors and unraveling the catastrophe's mysteries, culminating in the retrieval of Cerces' Coreflame to restore hope to Okhema.
The adventure delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State. This exploration unearths the long-lost history of the Era Chrysea and Tribbie's past. Tribbie (Tribios), the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, her destiny intertwined with a prophecy from Kephale.
Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His combat style involves sacrificing HP to power up, transforming into an enhanced state with automatic enemy attacks during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events
Version 3.1 also features the return of limited 5-star characters Yunli (first half of the warp event) and Huohuo (second half).
The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day/Night battle system, altering combat with time-dependent buffs and effects. The "Awooo Firm" event casts players as managers assisting Okhema's chimera squad.
