Pokémon Center Hiroshima is relocating! The store will temporarily close in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. Excitingly, a new Gyarados Plaza will also launch this March!

A New Playground for Pokémon Fans

Pokémon Center Hiroshima's Gyarados Plaza is Oddly Not a Water Park

Pokémon Center Hiroshima, currently located on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, will move to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station, around April 2025. The store, open since June 2015, will be missed in its current location.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will open on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza in the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This plaza will feature large Gyarados-themed play equipment, offering a fun space for visitors of all ages. Initially, reservations may be required to use the playground equipment; check the official Minamoa website for details.

Pokémon Center Hiroshima's current hours are 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Sunday.

Nationwide "Poke-lun TV" Event

Pokémon Center Hiroshima's Gyarados Plaza is Oddly Not a Water Park

Before the move, Pokémon Centers across Japan are celebrating "Poke-lun TV" reaching over 1 million subscribers! From January 17th to February 16th, 2025, fans can receive an exclusive sticker at participating stores. To claim your sticker, obtain a password from a special "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video (posted December 19th, 2024) and share it with the Pokémon Center staff.

Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will also feature special photo spots themed around the popular "Poke-lun TV" hosts (Takkun, Tokichan, Ha-chan, Tai-chan, and Riri-chan). This event excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafés, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe.
