Fuecoco Appears in March's First Community Day
Pokémon GO enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting start to March 2025 as Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon, takes center stage during the first Community Day on March 8, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time). During this event, Fuecoco will appear more frequently on the map, and you'll have an increased chance of encountering its Shiny form.
Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge via Crocalor during the event window or within the following week allows it to learn the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song, another Charged Attack, with no time restrictions.
Don't miss out on the Special Background Timed Research, which rewards trainers with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks not only boosts your chances of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco but also must be finished by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm (local time).
For those looking to dive deeper into the event, a $2.00 ticket grants access to exclusive Community Day Special Research. This not only offers encounters with three Fuecoco sporting a Seasonal Special Background but also the usual rewards like a Battle Pass and Rare Candies. These tickets can be purchased and gifted to friends with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

In addition to Fuecoco's spotlight, Pokémon GO has unveiled the schedule for Community Day events from March through May 2025, all set to occur on weekends:

Community Day Classic events will bring back fan-favorites like Ralts, giving trainers another chance to participate in past highlights. While the new Pokémon for the other dates remain a mystery, anticipation is high for what Pokémon GO has in store.

Candela or Arlo: Which One to Choose?
The Beloved Buddies event, which debuted Dhelmise, introduced a Timed Research that lets trainers choose between two paths, each linked to former friends and fellow Pokémon trainers: Candela of Team Valor and Arlo of Team GO Rocket.
Before choosing a path, trainers will tackle initial tasks rewarding Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Then, the choice is yours:
- Candela's Path focuses on strengthening bonds with your Buddy Pokémon and offers rewards like Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
- Arlo's Path is all about catching Pokémon and battling, with rewards including a Pocket Radar, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
