New for 2025: The Alienware Area-51 Chassis
Dell unveiled the new Alienware Area-51 at CES 2025. The chassis is similar to the 2024 R16, with minor aesthetic and cooling improvements and updated components. The I/O panel is now on top, the tempered glass window spans the entire side, and a positive airflow design (more intake than exhaust) is implemented.

Dell (Alienware), HP, and Lenovo Prebuilt PCs Coming Later
Major OEMs will add RTX 50-series GPUs to their prebuilt PCs later. Dell showcased its Alienware Area 51 (likely with the new GPUs) at CES 2025, expected in Q1. HP will offer RTX 5090/5080 options for the Omen 45L, hopefully in mid-to-late February. Lenovo's timeline is currently unknown.
