Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling new free DLC named Emerald Diorama, which introduces an exciting crossover with Square Enix’s renowned fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This update is the largest to date and promises to enhance your gaming experience with a fresh infusion of JRPG elements.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a new stage designed as a mini world map, offering a world-hopping experience reminiscent of classic JRPGs. Players can explore this new environment with over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed songs. Additionally, the DLC adds more than 16 new weapons and introduces the innovative Glimmer system, allowing you to acquire new skills randomly during your runs. The update is further enhanced with nine new music tracks, adding to the immersive atmosphere.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players must visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. Purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold will enable you to unlock the content piece by piece. The DLC also introduces character parties, allowing you to form your own mini squad for a more collaborative gameplay experience. Get a glimpse of what’s in store with the launch trailer below.
Additionally, the DLC includes two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is tailored for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" enriches the new DLC with more content.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Accompanying the Emerald Diorama, the base game receives a free update called The Coop, which adds a unique twist with a chicken-themed character named Gazebo, a new weapon, and a relic that speeds up the game. Players can also unlock numerous achievements and access Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens will unlock The Coop update's full potential.
Here’s a tip for The Coop: refrain from killing anything for the first minute to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.
You can now download Vampire Survivors from the Google Play Store and enjoy the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
