Saber Interactive has firmly stated that all of its previously announced games are still under development, despite the lack of updates on high-profile titles such as the much-anticipated Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake.
Following the recent announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, took to social media to reassure fans. "Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world," Willits stated. "We are working on numerous games across many different genres. Everything that we have talked about is still in development. We will share information on upcoming games when we have something cool to share."

The most notable project mentioned by Willits is the KOTOR remake, which remains one of the most elusive projects in gaming. Announced back in 2021, this long-awaited remake has undergone several development shifts, seemingly halting and then restarting, yet after four years, it has yet to come to fruition.
In April 2024, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch confirmed that the company retained the KOTOR project during its separation from Embracer Group, and emphasized that it was still actively in development. "It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," he stated at the time. "It's been in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we're dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations."
Willits' recent statement, made nearly a year after Karch's comments, reaffirms the ongoing development of the KOTOR remake. However, to date, no further details or visuals beyond the initial announcement video have been shared with the public.
In addition to the KOTOR remake, Saber Interactive is working on several other titles, including John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival, both slated for release in 2025, though specific dates have not been announced. The studio is also developing a new Turok game and an untitled project based on Avatar: The Last Airbender.
With the addition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 to their lineup, Saber Interactive's portfolio continues to expand. For more details on what to expect from Space Marine 3, including potential chapters and enemy factions, be sure to check out IGN's dedicated article.
