What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?
Originally released in Japan on the PlayStation in 1995 and 1998, respectively, Suikoden I and II made their way to the West a year later. Each game challenges you to recruit 108 warriors to build an army and battle the forces of evil.
This remaster preserves the charm of the original pixelated graphics while adapting them to modern widescreen displays. The spell effects have been revamped for smoother visuals, and character portraits have been redrawn in HD.
In addition to the graphical upgrades, you'll find several quality-of-life enhancements, such as the ability to speed up battles or use an auto-battle mode. The game also features auto-save and a conversation log, perfect for those moments when you accidentally progress the dialogue too quickly. The user interface has been revamped, making tasks like changing equipment more user-friendly.
