SketchPad is the ultimate tool for unleashing your creativity on the go, whether you're into sketching, doodling, or just scribbling away. With this app, your imagination can truly run wild as you draw, illustrate, sketch, doodle, or scribble - the choice is entirely yours.
One of the standout features of SketchPad is its incredibly lightweight nature, with a download size of just 5 MB. This makes it a breeze to install and start using. The app's design philosophy is simplicity itself, turning your screen into a canvas without any unnecessary fuss. Unlike many other drawing apps, SketchPad keeps things clean and straightforward - it's just you and your canvas.
Getting started with SketchPad is incredibly easy. Once installed, you can begin your creative journey almost immediately, with no setup required. It's designed to be user-friendly and hassle-free.
Features:
• Simple UI: The interface is designed to be intuitive, ensuring you can focus on your creativity.
• No Ads: Enjoy a seamless experience without any interruptions from advertisements.
• No In-App Purchases: All features are available without the need to spend extra money.
• Customizable Brush Width with Instant Preview: Perfect for those who want to experiment with bold strokes and fine details.
• Multiple Color Selection Methods: Choose your colors using a Palette, Spectrum, or RGB Sliders.
• Unlimited Undo/Redo: Feel free to experiment and make mistakes, with the ability to correct them (limited only by your device's capabilities).
• Optional Shake to Clear Feature: Simply shake your device to clear the canvas (requires an accelerometer). This feature is ideal for casual scribbling, though not recommended for serious sketching on the move, like on a bus.
• Export Options: Save your creations as PNG or JPEG images.
• Direct Sharing: Share your sketches directly from SketchPad, which automatically exports the image to your device.
SketchPad is fully capable of working offline, ensuring you can create anytime, anywhere. However, sharing your sketches with others may require a network connection. The app does need Storage permission to save your creations to your device, but rest assured, your files are safe and not accessed for any other purpose.
By default, exported images are stored in the "/Pictures/SketchPad/" directory, though you can customize this path in the settings to suit your needs. For compatibility with most Gallery apps, you might want to save to "/DCIM/Camera/". Note that on Android 10 and later, due to storage changes, images are saved to "/Android/data/com.kanishka_developer.SketchPad/files/Pictures", regardless of your settings.
The SketchPad project is deeply committed to enhancing user experience. Your feedback is highly valued, and you're welcome to share it or simply connect with the community on the Kaffeine Community Discord server at https://discord.gg/dBDfUQk or via email at [email protected].
