The digital world faces constant threats, but with the right knowledge, we can fortify our defenses. Enter Spoofy, an engaging educational game designed to introduce children to the essential concepts of cybersecurity. Through interactive gameplay, Spoofy not only familiarizes kids with cybersecurity terminology but also educates them on identifying and mitigating online dangers. Players assume the role of a cyber hero, navigating through puzzles to rescue friends trapped in digital dilemmas.
The game unfolds across four settings that resonate with children's daily experiences: a home environment where they learn about hardware and software security; a school setting that reinforces internet conduct; a visit to a grandmother that teaches them about trust online; and a cityscape where they discover how to safeguard personal and others' privacy. Spoofy has been developed in partnership with leading organizations such as CGI, Traficom's Cyber Security Center, State Development Company Vake, Nordea, the National Board of Education, and the cities of Espoo, Turku, and Jyväskylä, ensuring a robust and educational experience.
