Application Description

This OBD2 engine diagnostics tool utilizes a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ELM327 adapter to provide comprehensive vehicle data analysis. The app displays real-time data from various electronic control units (ECUs), generating and saving graphical representations for later review. It also displays and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or engine fault codes.

Configurable minimum/maximum thresholds for each sensor/PID trigger alerts. Compatible with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi ELM327 OBD adapters (V1.5 to V2.1 are recommended; older versions may exhibit inconsistencies).

Important Note: ELM327 compatibility is limited to OBD2-compliant vehicles:

  • USA: 1996 and later
  • Europe: 2001 and later (gasoline), 2003 and later (diesel)
  • Japan: Approximately 2000 and later

Beyond standard OBDII parameters, extended support is provided for numerous car brands, including (but not limited to): BMW, BYD, Chery, Chrysler/Dodge, Citroen, Daewoo, Fiat, Ford, Geely, GM/Chevrolet/Pontiac, GreatWall, Honda, Jeep, KIA, Hyundai, Land Rover, Lifan, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Skoda, SsangYong, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VAG, Volvo, VAZ, GAZ, ZAZ, and UAZ. Specific supported PIDs vary by brand and model. Users can select desired PID types within the app's settings.

Some Mitsubishi models offer advanced system control (e.g., cooling fan, fuel pump). To access MUT parameters and control actuators on CAN-bus Mitsubishi vehicles (Montero/Pajero IV, Outlander 2, etc.), configure a profile using the ISO 9141-2 protocol. Note that not all Mitsubishi CAN-bus models support ISO 9141-2.

The application allows for custom parameter creation.

Version 3.5.9 (September 30, 2024): This update includes minor bug fixes and improvements. Update to the latest version for optimal performance.
