Mau Mau, a beloved card game popular across Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, and Montenegro, now comes to your mobile device. "Mau King" lets you play online with real players from the region, fostering friendships through friendly competition. See how accurately this app recreates the familiar game you know and love!
Game rules (also available at https://mauking.com/pravila-igre-mau-mau):
- The game begins with one card face-up and six cards in each player's hand.
- The first player to empty their hand wins.
- On your turn, play a card matching the top card's number or suit.
- If you can't match, draw a card. If you still can't match, pass your turn.
- Before playing your second-to-last card, click the "Hand" button (like raising your hand). This signals to others you only have one card remaining.
Special Cards:
- Jack: Playable on any card (except another Jack). Choose the next player's required suit.
- Eight: Skips the next player's turn.
- Seven: Forces the next player to draw two cards. If they also have a seven, they play it, and the following player draws four, and so on.
- Queen: Reverses the direction of play.
- Ace: Allows you to play again immediately. You cannot win with an Ace.
- Two of Clubs: Forces the next player to draw four cards.
