HOW TO PLAY
Ludo is a classic dice and race game played with four pieces per player and a set of dice. Currently, Naija Ludo supports two players, each controlling eight pieces from two houses. The objective is to move all eight of your pieces to the center of the board before your opponent does.
MOVEMENT OF PIECE
The player with the red house starts the game. In subsequent games, the winner of the previous game starts with the red house. To bring a piece out of the house, you must roll a 6 on the die. Once on the track, pieces can move with any dice outcome. The track consists of 56 steps leading from the home to the center of the board. A piece is removed from play when it completes the 56 steps or captures an opponent's piece.
PIECE CAPTURE
Capture an opponent's piece by landing on the same space as theirs. The captured piece is sent back to its home, and your piece is removed from the board. The key to success is capturing your opponent's pieces while avoiding being captured yourself. Note that a piece cannot capture if the remaining die outcome cannot be used.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- A player can roll the dice twice or more in a row if each roll results in a 6.
- You must move your piece according to the dice outcome before rolling again.
- For a smoother and faster gameplay experience, go to settings and enable DIRECT COUNT.
