The Story: A Demon's Wrath and an Archer's Quest
An ancient demon unleashes chaos upon the world, prompting the forest spirits to awaken a long-forgotten archer. Armed with a bow and arrow, the archer embarks on a perilous quest to vanquish the demon. But this isn't a simple journey; expect unexpected challenges and twists at every turn!
Gameplay: Dodge, Shoot, and Survive
Constant motion is the name of the game. A Kindling Forest features a continuously scrolling screen filled with sharp, unpredictable obstacles. Players must skillfully dodge or shoot these hazards using their arrows – their only lifeline. Running out of arrows means game over, making every shot crucial.
Five Levels of Increasing Difficulty
The game unfolds across five progressively challenging levels. Players will navigate treacherous landscapes, leaping over spiders, teleporting through ancient ruins, soaring above clouds, and even escaping deadly lava flows. Strategically placed checkpoints offer a safety net, allowing players to restart and refine their approach after a mishap.
Dual-Screen Controls and Precision Aiming
A Kindling Forest employs a unique dual-screen control system. One half of the screen controls jumping, while the other manages arrow shots. Precise timing is essential for success. A helpful slow-motion effect during aiming provides the extra time needed for accurate shots.
