Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Third-Person Gameplay Revealed

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gameplay: A First-Person Perspective Only

Based on trailers and promotional materials, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is exclusively a first-person experience. This means there is no third-person mode available. The entire game, outside of cutscenes, is viewed from Henry's eyes.

This design choice is deliberate. The developers aim for immersive RPG gameplay, and the first-person perspective enhances the player's connection to Henry's journey. While the modding community might eventually offer third-person mods, the base game remains strictly first-person.

Cutscenes and conversations provide glimpses of Henry's appearance. The camera shifts between Henry and NPCs during dialogue, showcasing his changing appearance based on dirt accumulation and equipped gear. However, exploration and movement within the game world remain confined to the first-person view.

An official third-person mode is highly unlikely. Players should anticipate experiencing the game solely through the first-person perspective. For additional game tips, including optimal perk selections and romance options, consult The Escapist.
