Your journey to confront the Kabukimono begins in the Settsu region, where you'll meet the compassionate priest, Shin’nyo. He entrusts you with the mission to hunt down these unruly ronin and restore peace to the area. The Kabukimono, a group of flamboyant ronin, operate without regard for the law, causing havoc and harm wherever they go. It falls to the assassins to turn the tables and bring tranquility to the people.
There are eight distinct targets within the Kabukimono faction that you'll need to eliminate.
How and Where to Find All Kabukimono Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
*Assassin’s Creed Shadows* encourages exploration and discovery, leaving you to piece together clues to pinpoint your targets. However, if you're looking to expedite your mission, here's where you can find each of the Kabukimono members:
Ghost General
The Ghost General, leader of the Hungry Ghosts, is known for his insatiable appetite and commands a gang of voracious ronin. Follow the clues to Sakai, in the southwestern part of Izumi Settsu. Head to the western side of the city to the Money Changer District. Given the numbers advantage the ronin have, it's wise to eliminate them one by one or utilize Yasuke's strength to level the playing field.
Grave Dancer
The Grave Dancer leads the Defilers, a group that respects nothing sacred. From Sakai, travel northeast along the main road until you reach the Sumiyoshi Shrine, south of Osaka. Here, amidst the graves, you'll find the Grave Dancer. Dispatch him to his final resting place using your Hidden Blade or any preferred weapon.
Ember
Ember, head of the Firebrands, is a pyromaniac bent on purifying the world through fire. Travel north from Sakai to Osaka and locate the Fishermen’s District. Further north, you'll find burned buildings where Ember lurks. Clear the area of other combatants before confronting him to avoid a fiery end.
Big Sueki
Big Sueki, a lover of sake, leads a gang that values pleasure over honor. Head to Muko Post Town, just north of Amagasaki Castle in western Izumi Settsu. Near the moat, use the bamboo and thickets for cover to approach and end their revelry.
Chief Cuckoo
Once honorable samurai, Chief Cuckoo and his followers now torment the peasants. Travel to Katano in central Izumi Settsu and head to the Katano Oil Trading location on the southern edge of town. Use the environment to your advantage and bring this villain to a dramatic end.
Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, Peacock
After dealing with the other members, three remain: Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock. Head to the Nishinomiya Shrine west of Amagasaki Castle. At the entrance, you can choose to confront them individually or gather them at Takagi Otsuka Fort in the Harima region. From the shrine, travel west to Kakogawa Estuary, then northeast to the fort. The trio awaits in a courtyard near a medium-sized hut. Use the NPCs to distract them and strike when the opportunity arises. Eliminate all three to end the Kabukimono threat once and for all.
