After months of speculation and leaks, Pokémon Champions, a new multiplayer Pokémon battle game, has been officially unveiled! Developed collaboratively by Game Freak and The Pokémon Works (a joint venture between The Pokémon Company and ILCA), this title focuses on core-style Pokémon battles.
The trailer showcased both Mega Evolution and Terastallization, hinting at a broad range of Pokémon and battle styles across various generations. Crucially, Pokémon Champions will integrate with Pokémon Home, enabling players to transfer Pokémon from other games, finally giving those digital creatures a purpose beyond storage.
Currently in development for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, a release date remains unannounced. The game will support Latin American Spanish at launch, alongside other languages.
