Six Xbox Game Pass titles, including Exoprimal and Escape Academy, are leaving the service on January 15th, likely around midnight local time. This removal impacts roughly half of the departing games that offer multiplayer features.
The Xbox Game Pass catalog sees regular updates, with games typically removed mid-month and at the end of the month. This latest removal follows a similar purge on December 31st.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:
The following games are being removed:
- Common'hood: Cloud, Console, PC (Added July 2023, Estimated Playthrough: 23-36 hours)
- Escape Academy: Cloud, Console, PC (Added July 2022, Estimated Playthrough: 5-6 hours)
- Exoprimal: Cloud, Console, PC (Added July 2023, Estimated Playthrough: 28-39 hours)

Escape Academy's Free Alternative:
While leaving Xbox Game Pass, Escape Academy will be available for free on the Epic Games Store starting January 16th. Console players should prioritize finishing it before it's removed.
Future Game Pass Changes:
The next wave of removals is anticipated on January 31st, with announcements expected alongside the January 2025 Wave 2 lineup. This lineup already includes Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, all slated as day-one releases. Further updates are anticipated around January 23rd, coinciding with the Xbox Developer Direct.
