A Free SVG Editor: PainterSVG
PainterSVG is a free, W3C-standard SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) editor. Unlike bitmap images, SVGs use shapes, not pixels, ensuring no loss of detail when scaling. This application offers a range of features for creating and manipulating SVG images:
- Shape Creation and Editing: Easily create and modify lines, circles, rectangles, and more.
- Path Editing: Create and edit paths using straight lines, cubic Bézier curves, and quadratic Bézier curves. Intuitive drag-and-drop controls for adjusting path points.
- Styling: Simple controls for defining stroke and fill properties for all shapes and paths. Support for single color fills, linear gradients, and radial gradients.
- Element Manipulation: Select, deselect, move, resize, rotate, group, and ungroup elements with ease.
- Zoom: Convenient zoom in/out functionality.
- File Handling: Import and export SVG files. Export to PNG (transparent background) or JPG (white background).
