The game kicks off with eighteen cards laid out face-down to create three overlapping pyramids, each boasting three tiers. Above these pyramids, you'll find ten cards dealt face-up, setting the stage for your strategic moves. The remaining twenty-four cards form the stockpile, with the first card flipped into the waste pile to start your journey.
Your mission? Move cards from the tableau to the waste pile, but there's a catch: the card you move must be either one rank higher or lower than the top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. Imagine sequences like 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8 unfolding as you play. As you clear cards, any face-down cards that are no longer covered get turned face-up, revealing more opportunities to strategize and clear those peaks.
