- New Pokémon Debuts: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, make their grand entrance. Hatch Shroodle from 12 km Eggs.
- Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): On January 19th (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM local time), participate in a Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day for increased chances of encountering a Shiny Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh caught during this event will learn Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks extra rewards.
